Andy is a director, actor, voice-artist, singer, musician, and educator living and creating on the unceeded lands of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and sÉ™lÌ“ilwÌ“É™taʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples
Andy is currently the Artistic Director of the Robert M. Leddingham School of Theatre, Film, and Music at Arts Umbrella. Andy has also directed and produced shows for Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, Chilliwack Academy of Music, and industrials for companies like Yellowtail and RBC. For over a decade, Andy co-founded and was Artistic Director of Awkward Stage Productions, a leading youth theatre production company offering real-world production experience to young artists moving from their awkward stage to the next stage, whatever that may be,.
As a performer, audiences province-wide know Andy from tour-de-force performances as Edna in Hairspray at the Arts Club Theatre and at Theatre Under the Stars, as Brian in Avenue Q for the Arts Club and more. Andy also has a significant voice-over career having performed in hundreds of cartoons and commercials. Andy is also in demand as an adjudicator, workshop leader and coach for individuals and groups of professionals and community performers alike. He has been a guest speaker for auditions, courses and conferences at SFU, UBC, and Capilano University, and led professional development workshops at RBC and First West Credit Union
Patric Ray
Music
Patrick is a pianist and vocalist from Vancouver. He has earned classical performance diplomas from the Royal Conservatory or Toronto and the London College of Music.
Patrick is a go-to pianist in the Vancouver area for auditions and musical theatre rehearsals at Carousel Theatre, Royal City Musical Theatre and Arts Umbrella. He is also musical director of Arts Umbrella’s Musical Theatre Troupe.
