Michael and Chloe
Small acts of kindness sometimes seem hard to find in today’s news-scape. Here at the Lyceum however, we bear witness to them more frequently than you’d think.
Michael and Chloe Bai attended Lyceum programming before they could read. Their ability to embrace the organic nature of creativity is almost overshadowed by a kindness and generosity far beyond their years.
On an otherwise nondescript day, Michael paid a visit to Christianne, a mysterious envelope in hand. This generous young man celebrated turning 10 by instigating his own fundraiser at his birthday last year. With his passion and dedication, he encouraged his friends (and sister) to donate a whopping $600 towards building a kitchen in the Lyceum! (May 13, 2023)
On her ninth birthday Michael’s sister, Chloe, went without gifts in exchange for donations ($200) to her favourite place, which happened to be us. We couldn’t be prouder.
