Using the best in children’s literature as its starting point, Preschool Literature and Art encourages children to ask questions, make connections and think deeply about the world around them.
Students will interpret our investigations through visual art, creating pieces that deepen our unique understanding of the concepts we’re studying. In the spirit of Reggio Emilia, staff will send home daily documentation of class discussions and activities. We also use these documents as tools to help us tailor our investigations to the passions and questions of our learning community.
One Day Option
Choose from one of two times:
Mondays, 9:00AM to 11:30AM
Ages 3 to 5
Winter term: January 9 to March 6 (8 sessions)
Please note: no class on February 20
Cost: $440 + GST
Wednesdays, 9:00AM to 11:30AM
Ages 3 to 5
Winter term: January 11 to March 8 (9 sessions)
Cost: $495 + GST
Two Day Option
While each class stands alone, our Monday/Wednesday morning classes complement each other. A two-day option offers related stories and art projects that allow participants the time and inspiration to think and explore more deeply. For our two day preschool option, the price per class is adjusted in recognition of a larger commitment.
