As soon as your child walks through the doors on Monday morning, the magic will be palpable. There’ll be sparkle in the air and a buzz of excitement as the group settle down to be regaled with tales of the famous and long standing Lyceum faerie clan. With Christianne setting the scene for our week together, the group will be ready and raring to go when it comes to their artistic expressions. We’ll begin by learning to sketch watercolour figures onto heavyweight cardstock before dressing them in perfectly pressed blossoms, using miniscule shells to create fascinators and accessories. Channelling our laser focus each student will then use precision cutting to free their gorgeous models from the page, steadying them with a mobile made from found wood. We will then select our favourite pieces of raw dyed wool to fashion the latest coifs on our faerie models.

Finally we’ll adorn the wood and wire frames with faerie treasure found on a treasure hunt in the park, finishing what we know will be an utterly spectacular creation. Of course we’re not forgetting the Lyceum’s legendary faerie tea on Friday afternoon.
